Chocobos have been monsters or fiends in previous FF tittles too ^^
And I believe the Marlboro is a staple FF fiend much more than many others in all FF's. They have always brought a sense of really difficult fiend to beat with all their status inducing breaths and high damage attacks
They should have a Fat Chocobo boss in a dungeon.
I think goblins are more staple than anything but people always forget about them!
wild chocobos are monster in FFXII
You can choose to fight choco's or not in a few of FF. only ones i remember fighting them in was 7, X-2, 12 that's about it
