PS3 Raid HUD Question
So I play on a PS3 and tried out "Labyrinth of Ancients" last night, only to have a new HUD feature pop up in the middle of the screen that I can't make go away. It's a giant block displaying the rest of the player's HP. My party's HP is still to the left where it's always been, but now EVERYONE else's is now on screen as well, but right in the middle, blocking my view. I tried looking around the options for a way to remove/change/move this new HP block, but can't find an option to anywhere! lol.
Can anyone come to my rescue and point me in the right direction here? As always, thanks for any and all help everyone!

/hudlayout (or its equivalent menu item, which I think is under System).
I believe they're called Alliance Frames 1 and 2. Select them via the drop-down and R3 to resize them and/or go into mouse mode to select and drag them around that way.

There should be a HUD Layout menu as an option in the same menu category that has the system menu.
Also you may want to go into your chat filters and disable anything alliance-related. Hopefully they changed it, but it used to default to showing alliance stuff no one cares about and it's not fun having your entire non-battle log fill up with 4 other healers using AOE heals.

as stated above, its in your hud layout tab on your menu. remember, any time there is an issue with something on your hud in terms of it's size and placement, you can move it from that tab, everything except for your chat log. for that you need to activate your mouse pointer(L1 + R3) and move it with that.

yeah like chat channels they should make an UI quest, move and re-size an element :)
But I agree by default the alliance box is way to big and central on PS3. In it's way it forces you to learn the HUD menu :p

Haha yeah that got me too when did ct for the first time. Felt like I was running blind XD as said above, it's an easy adjustment :)

Thank you all for the help! I'm sure this will fix the issue and I'll give it a try once I log on after work.
Really glad that this is the side of the community I get to see most often. You all are some of the most helpful people around! Thanks again!

Now if they could only fix chat log ...impossible to read anything in there
