Haven't played in a long time

Well, a few months is hardly a long time but long enough to miss out on the recent few content patches. I see Philo tomes are gone and we have a new type to collect. Oh, and a really fat chocobo! So progression wise, where do you start these days at 50? I take it they no longer farm Wanderer's Palace... from what I see on DF, it is BF Hard mode. ´They seem to want a ilvl 90 minimal and I am at 80. What am I needing to farm now for myth to catch up on gear?

Any other neat things I need info on? Thanks in advance for the info

you can farm coil 1 (T1 to T5) for iLvL 90 gear no lock out now, or still farm myths on dungeons. You can do the experts dungeons at iLvL 80(Halatali HM and Brayflox HM and Lost city of Amdapor).

At ilvL 80 you will fast make a mix of iLvL 90 (myth tomes and coil) and iLvL100 gear(soldiery tomes)

the requirement for iLvL 90 for BF HM is often for speed runs, and even if you are not speed running these dungeons are fast to complete.

You dont need ilvl 90 to run Brayflox or Halatali HM. When people setup groups for speed runs they require that ilvl but just queuing for it in the Duty Finder is ilvl 55. I'm around 64 ilvl and have no issues healing these. Also you can attempt the first floor of Crystal Tower.

The myth cap is gone as well, of note.

The new HMs and Ruined City of Amdapor give 45 Sol 50 Myth per run, while the lower dungeons hand out something like 30 myth ea, CT gives...100? 80?

But yes, Coil us unrestricted - probably the easiest turn is 2, followed by 1, then 4. If you have a high skill level I'd go for the coil farm groups, as they award 20 myth / 10 sol per fun, along with a chance at loot!
