Crafting Material Loot

I have to say that the crafting materials dropping in the new dungeons is one of the dumbest ideas I have ever seen! Not only do you have the crafting material drops, but you have Darklight gear, AND new set for the classes as well?!? That is too much stuff on one loot table! Please SE, take the crafting materials out of the boss loot chests at least!! I have gotten nothing but crafting stuff for the last 4 dungeons, and I don't want it! Make it a leve reward for Disciples of the Hand, or just let them buy it from their Grand Companies if they need it! Please change this!

Although I like the crafting material drops I have to agree that there are just too many things on the loot table.
I'm working on getting a set of Hussar's gear for my Drg and so far got 3 pieces.
The last 50 runs however, I rarely had ANY of the new ilvl70 set items drop at all.
A few times only the last boss chest yielded a piece of gear while every other boss chest only had materials.

umm.... use the market board..... sell it.... i like the 5k gil drops.... its better than useless gear that is gonna hit the floor/clog up my inventory til i get to the GC guildmaster to trade in..

Get rid of the Darklight drops. Keep the crafting stuff

Some people do need that gear to upgrade and get their item levels up in order to do content. If people are being forced to grind a dungeon and not being able to upgrade slowly with pieces from the dungeon, then something is amiss.

I'll take the variety over all the gear the will get turned in/stored/never used 99% of the time.

i wouldn't mind this, but voidsent blood, cooking sherry, and filtered water are worth more to sell to the npcs on cactuar.

I'd rather not spend 2.5k seals PER crafting mat when I want to make a 40 dura i70 mat (eg Vanya Silk, Darksteel Ingot)
I'd rather spend the seals on retainer Ventures and lot for those mats for free (or pay the 3k gil per from the MB)
