ps3- ps4 and redeeming codes

Hey all

So i've been playing this game on the PS3 since the beta on the PS3. I pre-ordered the game from Futureshop and never got my early access code or my pre-order items (moogle hat, cait-sith minion) but hey who cares right?

So when the PS4 version came up for pre-order i pre-ordered the CE (even though i dont have a PS4 yet....) silly i know...

So i figured, when i receive all the stuff from the PS4 version i should be able to receive all the goodies on my PS3 account. Same service account right?

So i received the early access codes for the PS4 version (which includes the moogle hat and minion) but when i entered the code( on the ps3 PSN)..nothing happened.. i checked my moogle mail box hoping for the pre-order goodies..but alas...no luck.

am i doing something wrong?

Will i have to wait till i actually get a PS4 to obtain any of the goodies??
