Ps3 to Ps4 character copy problem

Hello my ps3 broke so I have upgraded to a ps4 . I have upgraded my copy of ffxvi from ps3 to ps4 . I am now on the main login screen where it is asking me to copy character data from my ps3 to ps4.

Obviously this is a problem as my ps3 is broken is there a way round this thankyou

You don't need your PS3 to do this.

Go to the square enix ffxiv account site and perform the upgrade from ps3 to ps4 there. It's a couple boxes you need to check and an agreement and then you should be able to login.
