Bahamut in Coil

Did a quick search, but we didn't seem to have a thread just for him.

Anyway, the Order of the Blue Garter cleared T9 today and posted a new picture of Bahamut.

iDervyi: So, now that we can see Bahamut now has a Torso covering his chest, as well as having his Wings reconstructed by Allagan Machinery, what do you think will happen? His shoulder also have Allagan 'plates' on them.

Interesting. So the coils are being used to replicate Bahamut, one in each, or is this the same Bahamut of the first coil, just further along in his reconstruction and alteration?

My guess is that clearing the Coil Turns is having to side effect to slowly "re-contruct" him.

Basically think as if each Coil Turn was a different lock on the Bahamut reconstruction/reform/whateveryouwanttocallit and you are the key to unlock each step, one by one, despite still thinking that you're exploring and eventually trying to put an end to a problem that you'll eventually be the one to cause.

Considering coil is basically a huge underground system i guess it's all coming together at 1, same point.
(look at the coil area in eastern la noscea etc, you keep descending lower and lower, t4 is even an elevator downwards)
Everytime you clear a full coil you get to that 1 point, seeing bahamut ressurecting slowly (probably).
It'll be interesting to see what happens once the other coils have been completed.

it also makes sense that the final loading area is no longer available for first coil after you beat T5.

Random aside, but I find it kind of sad that Eorzean Subterraine isn't still accessible. You could cross paths with all kinds of people exiting various points of Coil 1. A large platform deep underground with a teleporter to the surface and a teleporter to the next Turn.
