Does Brutal Swing stun everything Shield Bash stuns, and vice versa?

I've leveld PLD to 50 and now I'm leveling WAR. And I was wondering if (without having to go back and test every encounter again) if Brutal Swing stuns the same actions Shield Bash stuns? Or do each have certain quirks (other than the loooong wind-up animation to BS)?

No. A stun is a stun is a stun. Shield Bash hits everything Brutal Swing does hits everything Holy does etc etc. Also, if anything, despite the wind-up BS is easier to time and hit with because its off-GCD meaning you can very easily sneak it in after quick hits like Heavy Swing.

That "off the GCD" I've found, is already worth its weight in Rose Gold Nuggets. No more worrying about whether your GCD will finish in time to stun the newest threat...

Similar to Spirits Within, animation lock is still a killer.
