Smn pet and gearing question

Hello everyone, I just had a question about the pets and about gearing if you all do mind answering them. :)

First question is, do the pets still require higher accuracy than the needed caster acc in order to reach cap or did Square change it so that we don't need basically melee levels of accuracy for our pet?

My second question is where should I go in terms of gearing as I've gotten all I can from Myth tomes, but I'm at 89 ilvl and accuracy is at 440. What pieces should I try to get from the ex primals and coil before I move on to Leviathan/Thornmarch EX and coil 6-9?

Accuracy is important for your pet. You will need to get it around 441. However you will need to balance accuracy for crit which is extremely important for you. Allagan pieces are Bis over myth in this department.

Running Coil 1 to 5 is a good prerequisite to getting gear, and capping your soldiery coms.

To answer your first question, yes. You do need higher accuracy for your pet.

In terms of gear follow the following hierarchy. And gear up the best u can.

INTELLIGENCE >ACCURACY (until cap)>CRIT >DETERMINATION >SPELL SPEED

u have to be 470 acc BEFORE FOOD BUFF to let ur pet 100% hit in T7

The goal is 491 for T8/9.
450 for T5

The most important pieces of i90 you can get are the Omnitome, Allagan pants, boots, myth head, body and gloves. It's also a good idea to get Titan Earrings and Garuda ring. 2.1 BiS with Allagan book will give you 448 accuracy. For T6 you can swap to Omnitome and still keep up the necessary damage with the bonus accuracy until you get the Leviathan book.

As for upgrading, here's my process for Soldiery: Body (straight upgrade from SMN doublet), ring (accuracy and because I failed to get a Garuda ring), sash (accuracy at the loss of determination and a little bit of crit), Necklace (loss of some crit and det for +5 INT; imo it's a downgrade if purchased early), then finally Book of Spades (Straight upgrade from Allagan book). Other pieces should only be bought after the necklace if you can't immediately get past T7. The pants are nice, but you're sacrificing crit for det (if upgrading from Allagan pants)
