Character Stuck at Summoning Bell

Party or solo: Solo
Area and coordinates: Lavender Beds (13,13)

Steps:
1. Use Summoning Bell
2. Retainer selection menu doesn't appear as expected
3. Able to click off Summoning Bell
4. Unable to move (with mouse or keyboard controls)
5. Unable to jump
6. Unable to Teleport/Return ("Unable to teleport/return at this time")
7. Unable to Log out or Exit ("Unable to execute command while with your retainer")
8. Clicking on the Summoning Bell again does nothing

Just as an extra comment, I sent a message via the support desk in-game since I was dealing with a character stuck issue and unable to move/teleport or logout and the GM response was that it wasn't an issue that could be resolved via an in-game GM call and asked me to look at the lodestone for help. I'm not sure if they read my support message or not but based on their response, I'd guess that they didn't. I'm not really sure what they were expecting me to find on these forums that would fix my issue? Reading a thread of posting a bug report would suddenly enable my character to start moving again? The Support Database clearly says that Game Masters handle issues such as characters being stuck in-game, so why they gave me such an unhelpful and frankly useless response is beyond me.
