Localization Team

You have done a marvelous job with this game.

I can honestly say that when it comes to FFXIV, the English translation beats the original Japanese version. That is impressive to say the least.

From the brilliantly named classes (that still retain the developers' original intentions) to the top-notch use of different slangs and even pop culture references, I have not a single complaint when it comes to the localization. I can only wish the single player Final Fantasy games had a similar level of quality and, dare I say, maturity to them.

I've actually wanted to say this for a long time, but I didn't know how to get the message delivered. This sub-forum is just what I asked for.

Also, I don't know if you guys were a part of the team that localized the WotG storyline in XI, but if that is the case, I also wanted to say that while I can't say my English comprehension skills are that bad, the San d'orian NPC's still made my head spin!

I'm not asking for more simplicity, but I hope you guys and gals remember that not everyone that plays the EN version speaks English as their first language, lol.
