This is what it said when I logged in. This is fine, but it when you press anywhere in on a specific character, it highlights. Then you press safe... and nothing happens. So you do it again, and same.
Little does it say that you should press the STAR to select your character. Lucky I got lucky on the area I clicked.
This shoudl be fixed. Let the user click the entire photo to select their character. How should we know you want us to click the little star?

Took me quit a while to girure out at the beginning why I'm not allowed to view anything in the forum besides that confiuration screen. Nealy reached the point to say screw you and never visit again...
I completely agree... I spent a good 15 minutes not understanding why highlighting didn't enable me to select my character and eventually, had to see someone's post on another browser to finally understand what I was supposed to do. It's extremely NOT intuitive and I think I would never have found out if it wasn't for that other topic. This selection system is very poorly designed...
Why force users to pick a character anyway? Those who wish to avoid exposing their character names/server will stop posting. Is that what SE's aim?
