[EU] Login and Character Creation Restrictions (Apr. 11)

Depending on the level of congestion during the PlayStation®4 early access/formal start of service, we may enforce a temporary restriction on logins and/or character creation.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but as this is a countermeasure to prevent anticipated congestion, crowded Worlds, and server outages, we ask for your patience and thank you for your understanding.

[Login Restrictions]
During periods of high congestion, we may place a limit on the number of players allowed to log in at any one time. Should this happen, the message “This World is currently full. Players in queue: [number],” will appear. We ask that you please wait in this queue until you are able to log in.
Additionally, depending on the number of simultaneous connections or server load, login restrictions may be enforced. Should this happen, the message “This World is currently full. Please wait until an opening is available and try again,” will appear, and you will be unable to log in. We ask that you please wait before trying again.

[Character Creation Restrictions]
We may place character creation restrictions on individual Worlds based on our real-time observations of the number of characters, simultaneous connections, and server load.
We are anticipating a high character population in low-level areas due to new characters being created. Although individual areas have set population limits, there is a worry that players will be unable to log in or that servers may go down as the character count approaches these limits. Because of this, we will be closely monitoring server conditions and adjust character creation restrictions as necessary.
