Gold Eggs worth it?

For the event. Are the gold eggs worth saving up for? And what do they even contain. If anyone knows anyway.

I would save it. It could be the method used to get the Chocobo barding.

There was a post on reddit that someone looted a Spriggan Cap from a gold egg; if it`s true it would be worth it.

Chocobo barding seems to be a reward for the last quest.

The gold eggs are where our retainers are getting all this furniture and building supplies.

Isnt it too soon to tell if it is worth it or not?

I thought we wont know until the final chapter on the final day

So wait, let me get this straight. To get gold eggs, you need to kill sprigans that spawn roughly once every 2hrs in a handful of spots. They drop silver eggs which can then be turned in for gold that has a VERY SMALL chance at granting a spriggan cap?

Yeah, never did this event on 1.0 because the hats were silly. Now in 2.0 we have the same hats (no thanks) and a silly barding, so... nope, no eggs for me. I won't miss them
