I played the first phase of beta for PS4 but didn't get to play the second phase last weekend. Did they fix the text size for the second phase? i remember it was really hard to read text from 6 ft away so i had to sit in front of my 46" tv just to read the text.
I was able to adjust the UI text size via the Options panel during the second phase of beta. There were several scaling options to choose from, as I recall.

Yes - and - NO. They've put the default HUD size to 140% (which you've could done yourself at HUD setup before as well) but they've also added an option to resize all HUD elements in on go, increased the size of the main menu and make the launcher page (almost) full screen (it still have a little border though).
It's a good thing they did force the UI a bit bigger, otherwise I probably would not have picked up the game. It would have taken me a few hours of setting things up (digging through all the menus that are in unfamiliar places and figuring out what looks best on screen) to get the UI just right, in turn cutting down the beta testing time I wanted to put in.
