Easter eggs out in the world today

So i was trying to find out where these eggs are, I saw a sprigan in mor dhona out in the world that was level 10 and it droped a silver egg for me, but i was wondering if these are just randomly scattered out in the world? or is there a place to farm them.

I wondered the same thing but everything I have seen thus far is that they are random.

I killed a spriggan at Rootslake in South Shroud and got a silver egg, but then a spriggan FATE spawned in the same spot. I think it is a normal FATE for that spot, except now all the spriggans were replaced with level 5 spriggans that dropped bronze eggs (also, I didn't have to level sync even though it is a level 30-something FATE and I was level 50). I got 44 bronze eggs by killing the spriggans, but ended up just short of winning the FATE, so I don't know if there was an additional egg reward for winning it.
