Atma farm and why it will be nerfed.

So here it is 12 atmas in since the release of 2.2 and all it does is a paint job.... So yes the whole farce is nothing more than to make the servers feel active and alive for the ps4 launch to conceal the hub world flaws where I don't know how about empty zones sure its a quick fix but it won't address it for long and they know it.

From what I have seen the books are time consuming and so they should as that actually increases the states but for a mere paint job oh and the next quest, taking x number of days work to just unlock the quest line which has the real grinding its really not justified and probably why this hated by the majority.

So give maybe 2 months and it get Nerved perhaps by then se will have some REAL open world content.

It's all a conspiracy by SE! I knew it!

All it took was a little bit of checking on the Lodestone, to see that the relic Zenith and the relic Atma had the same stats. At 2/12 atmas here, I'm nowhere near the point of verifying what others have already said, but from what they say, the atmas are the grind, the books are easier and can be done in a day each (that includes both the grinding 1500 myth to buy it, and actually doing it).

My relic atma have better stats than my relic zenith did...
+6MND and +2VIT... from doing 3 MND books and 1 VIT book so far...

And it's only people who rush that can do 1500 myth a day... most people would spread out the farm over 3 days (mostly duty roulette and only some few extra runs in addition to that.).

Truth be told, there probably won't be what this forum considers "real open world content" until an expansion.

I spent a week farming the atma and through roulette and dungron grinding acquired book 1 the day i upgraded, 2 days to complete book because a coerthas fate had like 6 hr pops and saved enough myth to get book 2 which ill complete in a few hours seen as i farmed the fated straight away. Yeah the atma farm sucked but I and many others stuck to it and are now reaping the rewards, if SE nerf it now because of the complaints then it shows how casual and spoon fed the player base is.
P.S already seen 2 animus shields before I completed book 1.

It will be nerfed when the next step for the relic comes out wouldn't expect it before then, but when they do you will all be on here moaning "wah wah atma/animus is too easy to get why does everyone have one!?"

Its blatantly obvious it will be nerfed in given time. In all honesty I would much rather wait and do other things than spend a unknown amount of hours grinding atma. Some of us cant play 10+ hours daily.

And that is a issue with the players of the genre currently, not a XIV specific issue.
