I have the PC version currently but I have pre-ordered the PS4 version. I was wondering how I would register it so as not to screw my account up. I herd there were many problems when people were registering the ps3 version when it came out.
I put in a support ticket in about my question but they gave me clueless answer stating they had no clue about my question and had no idea where else I could find the answer.
Can anybody here help me out?

Well your account is on the server side, not the client side. The only things on the client side (your PC) are things like hot keys and macros etc... There's a way to transfer those as well. And you can find that info on the front page of the lodestone.

All I want to know is how to safely register my PS4 FFXIV CE serial when it arrives so I don't have any issues like the ps3 users had.

Just log in with your SE account on the PS4 (when you can). It should give you a list of characters you can transfer. From there just select which one(s) to transfer and you're set (but note you can't play with them on PC once you bring them over to the ps4).

For the OP's question he should be able to use the game registration either on the console or via the mogstation which would allow his account to be played for either platform.Quote:
