Who should I be?

Hello, I'm not really new, but I unofficially "left" way back around February or so when I had a serious workload for college and couldn't handle much of a life outside of homework. ANYWAY, I'm back now and apparently just in time for some radical changes, so I've decided to change myself as well. The problem is, I don't know who to be.

What I mean is, I put a lot of thought into who my character is. I give them a story, a dream, a goal, a voice. I like to RP, pure and simple. Not 24/7 or anything, but it's fun to do and hell its in the name of the game genre.

I've narrowed down my choices to three characters. I've shied away from male characters because there's only so many ways one can portray "unintentionally ambiguous preferences in intimate partners and a wee bit fruity" (which is what all of my male characters devolve into, somehow) before everyone around me starts to feel awkward. On the other hand if you think I should roll with that, tell me. the character bios below are pretty much gender neutral outside of the arbitrary pronouns. The bios all have a race tied to them, but if you have an alternative race suggestion for any of them I'd be happy to hear it.

Hyur: A typically rebelious child of a noble family who seeks fame as an adventurer. She hides her past in a tightly woven web of lies, and not even those closest to her know her true identity. Her swift brutality is unmatched both on and off the battlefield, and some wonder if she is tenaciously compensating for her unknown past or if she is truly and frighteningly insane.

Elezen: A child of questionable parentage. Her mother, an unmarried woman who kept to herself and her home, was lynched soon after the child's birth, as many of their neighbors believed that her father was not of this world; a demon, a spirit, or a god. The child escaped with the help of a mysterious old man who raised her in solitude. After his death she was forced to enter the world on her own. Socially inept, rude, and distrusting, she fights as an adventurer because she knows no other way to get by. (for reference, this is my current character. I'll be remaking it either way.)

Miqo'te: A child with no past or blood relatives to speak of, found as an infant and raised by a nomadic group of people from all corners of the earth who were cast out of their own societies and created their own. Well travelled, endlessly curious, and eager to expand her "family," she sets out to uncover the mysteries of the land, make new friends, and find plenty of shiny treasures.

I'm not a RPer, but from time to time I do enjoy listening to others who participate because the stories are interesting. :)

As far as your character choices go, I think that the second sounds the most intriguing, but it seems more like a character I would enjoy to learn more about through a novel, rather than one who would mesh well in a group of others in an online environment. The third option seems like an interesting background story with a personality that would work better for teaming up and making new friends throughout the game.
