Gameplay tips for latency/Titan EX?

Just curious if there's any tips out there aside from being lucky regarding the horrendous latency this Trial is all about?

There will be times where I'm clear of all plumes and get hit by all of them. Others, I won't see a Landslide's AoE trails until a tenth of a second before it hits.

I'm getting the pattern down, but when the fight, on a technical level, is utter crap... it kind of makes it hard.

Its like walking down a sidewalk... easy enough, you know the pattern of the walkway. But if someone comes up alongside you every few seconds and pushes you to the side... it makes it really hard to follow that pattern.
