Can't skip harvest dance cutscene?

I know it isn't the biggest of deals, but was in the duty finder for 40 minutes waiting for CT, and I decided to do other things while waiting as people often do. I was finishing up the Gridania harvest dance quest when the duty was ready. I could not skip the cutscene and I could not join the duty while occupied. Needless to say I was not able to get into CT after waiting so long and I now have to start the next 40 minute or so wait to join the duty finder for CT.

I wouldn't have minded if the duty finder trumped whatever I was occupied with at the time and then I could repeat the last part of the harvest dance. I wouldn't have minded skipping the harvest dance cut scene to get to the duty finder in time. What I do mind is having missed the duty because there was no way to click through the quest fast enough to get into the party.

It isn't a big issue, but something that I think should be addressed.
