Hello people! After a 6 month break due to rl problems i finally managed to get back into FFXIV. Could i get some info about how the game is progressing? Is the population still good on Moogle?
Lastly are there any active Free Companies recruiting?

The population is overloading in certain areas since patch 2.2, so you might find yourself disconnecting in loading screens, just a warning.
With 2.2 theres new sidequests, a new challenge log, retainer ventures which can bring back a large variety of items (including: furniture, seeds, high quality gear and materials) , new dancing emotes which last until movement and some new fights like Gilgamesh and Leviathan.
Your relic weapon has a 3rd and 4th upgrade now known as Atma and Animus (if you didn't know, there's also Zenith). This requires fate farming and can be tedius, and a lot of Myth tomestones, but it's worth it.
Philosophy tomestones no longer exist in-game. Dungeons that previously dropped it now give Mythology tomestones, however in smaller quantities of course. All previous philosophy items are now available in dungeons, with company seals and with mythology.
