Atma is.....

Annoying... Yes, needs a less rng approach... Yes. Worth all the crying... No. I spent a lot of time every day grinding this crap for the past week, and got them.

Maybe!!! And just bare with me, you could spend moar time killing all the fates vs complaining to someone on the forums who isn't looking and refreshing every 5 minutes to see who joined you or flamed you.

I in my days spent have watched numerous people grinding fates in my PTs NOT hit all the fates "I'm not running up that far" or hitting one fate and afk through 3 (probably on here complaining). And of these VERY MANY ( 3-4 in a full pt) people about 90% of them at some point cursed the game and left..... Those people... Do not deserve anything... Preferably they cancel their sub and make the community that much better!

If I look at it from a business way.

Players pay for this game and that make them clients. Clients who pay for a service have the right to complain when they think something is wrong with the service they pay for. And in the end, if after they complained the service still doesn't meet their expectations, clients will stop paying for it.
You see people crying. I see clients complaining ;)

Don't forget the people crying are paying for this game and as a consequence expect the service they pay for to meet their expectations.

The Point is, the people that did get atma in 10-20 mins do not deserver them anymore then anyone else, RNG is just bad, make it 30-40 fate per atma, there would been a lot less complaining

I wish that were true ( this kinda covers pys comment aswell) if it were a set amount then it would be too high, if it were one and done another crowd would say it's too easy. Point is when your targeting multiple demographics with a product not everyone is going to be happy. I myself and plenty of people I know hate wal-mart... Are they going under because of it, nope, because there are still a large amount of people that still shop there.

I for one am only voicing against the tidal wave of QQ because I'm tired of seeing things my friends and I put work into getting nerfed to the point that the only requirement to be successful is to have a pulse.

People are not complaining about difficulty, they are complaining against classical and operant conditioning used to extend game lifespan and subsiquinly subscription revenue. When over used without giving a reward the subject may or may not realize what is going on. In this case the vocal community here has, and does not like being manipulated in this manner.

A time sink is not the same thing as difficulty. Look up Pavlov and skinner, easy enough to find.

If your curious as to what you are actually complaining about search for the ny times article "why waiting is torture" FYI you play the part of the stabber in the post office ;)

I did not say it was difficult. But my friends and I put in the time and effort to do it.

Here's the thing I don't fully understand about all the QQ. People claim that it's sooo random and that people who are done are just lucky. I Put my time in 10 hours in west la noscea had me at wits end but here's the thing. If it's completely luck and I'm extremely lucky lets broaden the picture.

There are now 10/10 people in my fc that buckled down and made atma their goal that all have their weapons. Members that have family's and full time jobs so not a great deal more than your average player. I find it hard to believe that our fc went 10/10 and we were all extremely lucky within the first week, including the guy that spend 7 hours in the wrong zone (lmao).

The fix for the atma "problem" is to stfu and just do it. Your welcome all!

Again I don't know why people who are so emotionally unequipped for grinding even do it. I really don't mind things being grindy or RNG, just accept it might take you a couple more weeks and space out your time invested into it.

That's a loaded question. In this case they added it as a revenue generation tactic as opposed to creating gaps in the story progression to add a disconnect for dramatic purposes then yes it is bad.

Personally I don't mind grinding the atmas out, in fact I have most of a second set already, but the majority of the customers they want, the ones that pay for the service but don't use it, will hate it.
