Gear: Could we dye it all someday?

One of the great features about obtaining new gear is being able to dye it and, in the face of the new Glamour feature, being able to customize that "special look" is even more feasible.

Though, I'm sure this has been discussed in the past... there are numerous pieces of gear that does not allow one to dye it, this also includes high-level gear such as Allagan and High Allagan gear. I think that the High Allagan Coat of Healing is quite awesome looking and I'd love to wear it on my SCH (which I main); however, there is one off-putting factor about it... the color red. I won't go into a long, drawn out explanation about it, but I happen to not be fond of the color red and I think it'd be really nice to see that coat in a different hue. The design is astounding and is exactly the type of top I am highly in favor of, but it being in red only is a bit of a turn off.

That's not to say that I have not realized that the Soldiery gear is able to be dyed after it reaches it's full potential after a Sands of Time upgrade, which I think is an excellent direction, but I'm still curious about other gear-sets.

This is more or less a question directed towards the Community Reps, but has there been any particular consideration by the devs to allow us to dye all gear? This includes the Allagan and High Allagan gear-sets as well.
