hm. i play on PS3 platform. and have never had that issue. though i have pressed down on buttons so hard that the other button near the one pressed got pressed too.
sounds quite odd. if you on PC maybe you have the motion sensor axis configured for button presses. other then that, maybe your controller is old or damaged?
