I just returned & noticed lots of changes, most are explained very well.
I noticed some of my gear has a symbol on it, it looks like a page or something.
What is it & what does it mean?
Another thing I was wondering about is the circle on the gear, some are hollow, others have colors, what does that mean also?
Im not sure if this is new, or I just forgot, but cant find info...

The little page symbol in the lower right corner of equipment icons indicates that this item is part of one or more of your gear sets. (It's new, and was requested by people who inadvertently got rid of gear they were still using in a different class.)
The little colored circle in the top right corner is the color of dye that has been applied to the item (if any). The circle doesn't appear on items that cannot be dyed. (I think this has been around since the beginning, at least the beginning of ARR.)
