Playable Beastmen Races.

Yea I know its a long shot, and SE has bigger fish to fry. But I really want to play as a Goblin. It goes without saying that this wouldn't be like faction stuff. If you were to choose to be a beastman or beastwoman, you'd still be a "good guy". It would just give a bit more variety. New races, and the best part is they already have the character models. I think the bigger problem would be designing how existing gear would fit the beastmen. That being said, I would still welcome something like this. Not all of us want to be cute or sexy. Some of us want to look BEASTLY.

I'd be down with that, but thats sort of a ways away and a rather huge developer investment (Modeling,animation, an armor piece in every single iteration for a new race)

lol i do agree with you on this one but i wouldn't get my hopes up either.

This is fail, never would want beastmen, goes against the story and lore in a bigger scale.

not so sure how it goes against the lore, there's beastmen chilling in limsa.

I said on a big scale. None of the beastmen like any other race besides their own. There are some, not many at all, that wish for peace.

Otherwise, the beastmen would be more of a 4th area, against all of the other races due to the fact that they're raised that way.

Exactly! There were friendly Beastmen in FFXI as well. True that in most cases it was the exception and not the rule. But Nephera made my point pretty well I think. If nothing else I see no reason at all we can't have friendly playable Gobs and Qiqs.

Sounds like a Morph job/class to me! I am all up to it. =)
