Relic Weapon questions

Hello, first off I'm sorry if I sound stupid asking this but I'm now a Lvl 50 bard and has started wondering about the Relic Weapon quest I've just got the AF gear and was wondering if that is good enough to do the quest.

If now what gear should I get for my bard to start the quest ?
