Daily beastman quest fate is still not solable

I thought they adjusted fates to go with how many ppl were doing it. Well I was doing my daily beast quest in southern thanalan (Pulling flames)

At the time I did it, which was prime time on my server, I just saw 1 other person, he was killing stuff in the area next to were I was. When the fate poped that other person left.

5 minutes before the fate poped I shouted if anyone would care to help me with it, and no one showed up. Yesterday when I was doing it, I happened to time it better. There was an atma farm group running through and killed it with me.

Was really bad timing for it today, I guss. I just thought they made fates scalable, where you could solo um if you had to. I died farely quickly as a blm trying to solo that fate.

Well guss its still shouting for help, or maybe my fc would help me.... not many on, or time it when an atma group is running through there again.

I thought the difficulty varied with the amount of people that completed the previous one.

I think the notes said that the mob hit points would adjust based on the number of players in the fate. Nothing about them doing less damage though. I was able to solo it pretty easily as ilvl 76 paladin with rank 5 chocobo.

Whip out that chocobo.

This is what I love about playing SMN. I have a 3-man party already hehe. Tank, DPS, healer (Choco). I'm all set for almost every FATE.

The FATEs scale based on the amount of participants in the previous kill. Right now all four dailes zones are used in the Atma quests so the FATEs are being spammed and basically held at the highest difficulty. You llikely found no one to help because they were all spamming the lower level FATEs at the time. I've found the atma groups tend to avoid the high level FATEs and especially the ones like the boar one in Sylphlands because of how far out of the way it is. They only go after them if they're the only FATEs left on the map and even then most will turn around if a more convenient FATE pops before they reach the Daily FATE.

Yeah a lot of fates are still impossible to do solo, especially if there is one big boss instead of waves of weaker enemies. Either the boss will defeat you in a 1vs1 battle or you will not have enough dps to deplete its hp in the time limit. Unless they can scale to the number of participants that are doing it right now, then it can't work. The number of players who were there the previous time should have no bearing on its difficulty next time, since players can freely come and go in large numbers.

Go Ilvl 80+ Blm, have a chocobo with Choco Regen. Burn it down without other mobs bothering you. Use Physick if you're getting low and spam it till you're full. Continue on the rotation on BLM, and you will win easily. Done this plenty of times for NM fates, it really isn't that difficult. You can do it as long you got Fire Starter access in your traits, you will be fine.

if you have summoner leveled up and your chocobo you can solo anything
if not try to have a healer/tank chocobo i guess
as BLM access to physik + unlimited MP should save you

Dunno about that fate but me and my chocobo have always soloed Firestarter :D
Although i have moved on to the new beat tribes i am on Leviathan as well so if you need another blm around i may be able to help you out
