How do you mitigate the damage for mograin of death?

Here's all I know:

- It happens after the first raise.
- 3 people will be targeted by mograin of death, the other 3 that's closest to Whiskerwall will get mind control.

- We've tried stacking a targeted and a non targeted person on top of each other, and it's still does 6K to both.
- We tried stacking all the targeted next to each other, and it did 3x 6K (18K damage in total)

If anyone can figure this out, I will be truly appreciated.

Edit: We just figured out that we just need to move away from the archer.

Edit2: Just when we thought we're fine, it turns out theres another pattern where he doesn't do mind control during it. And when that happens, it completely ignores the strategy above.
