Game crashing on Level 22 quest

Hi all! First post on FFXIV makes me sad that its because I'm having problems. I love the game so far but...... On the level 22 Brotherly Love quest where you have to go into the forest and save that fairy guy from the other fairies (sylphs???) the game crashes on me about 15-30 seconds into the instance. I have tried restarting the PC, closing everything and anything I can think of. Currently I'm re-downloading the game (bought the DL version, never doing that again), all 12 gigs. Which the FFXIV patcher looses connection every 1.5 gigs, makes no sense. Is there anyone who could shed light on this problem for me? I'm currently taking a trip so I'm away from my PC and it still had 1 gig left. I wanted to post this now just in case it doesn't fix it, I don't want to get back home and then have to post and wait for a reply :( I wanna get back to leveling my nub.

PC can handle game fine.
Win 7
Gtx 760, up to date drivers
Intel i5
16 GB ram.
