NZ / AU Servers.
This issue has been brought up countless times, and no responses that i'm aware of have been addressed.
I'd like to start off by saying this game is wonderful, i currently live in Australia, and enjoy it quite a bit, i pay good money to play it and i expect a game that i can play without feeling like i'm from South Africa using a potato as router.
The amount of oceanic players on this game clearly deserves a server setup here so that we can actually play the end game content, or any content for that matter, without lagging, as stated above like we live in South Africa.
If this issue isn't addressed somewhere along the lines of this months subscription i won't be playing anymore, as the endgame content is just not acceptable with 280 ping.
If you're from Australia or Newzealand, or even just an Oceanic player, let's stand the fuck up and quit giving them money when apparently we don't exist.
I would like to point out i'm not hating on S.E, i'm just frustrated that after a year of this game being out, they haven't done anything to accommodate us, and i'm quite sick of it, considering the amount that they make each year.

Yeah I agree, being a whitemage in titan with New Zealand ping SUCKS. I know all the rotations, so I use prediction to avoid my own aoes, but I can't dodge when someone runs in front of me and drops their aoes in front of me, because the ping does not let me react in time to dodge it.
So yeah, I get called a terrible healer, told to move countries or delete my character, and the like, when really it's not my fault there are no Australasian servers!

Even though I'm Australian too, I disagree - lag and latency is not as simple as how far away from the game server you are - there are NA players complaining about bad lag which are in the same city as the NA servers! - showing that the latency and lag is not just caused by geographical location, but but a number of different factors (network routing and ISP throttling just two of the possible causes).
Creating an Australian server group wouldn't really solve anything, as not only is the fraction of Australian/Oceanic players a relative drop in the ocean to EU players (who don't have their own server group either), given our closer distance to Japan, SE probably feel it's not worth the added expense setting up and running an AU server group. Really, if you're having lag issues use the JP server group and not the US one (it's well known the JP servers Masamune (Legacy) and Tonberry (new) both have very large Oceanic/Aussie populations).
