FF you got to be Trolling me (Atma Crystal Questions)

I have 1 Atma, took 4 zones and 5 hours and I got it solo on my SMN, I look everywhere and no one has a clue about how this really works. Even in game, where I am looking for a super rare item drops, falls more than an Atma Crystal. I mean I was latterly drive to tears and rage about not finding a crystal. (This Drive me to Drink hard Liquor)

Here want I want to know.

What do the have name of the crystal mean? It makes no sense to name them if they all do the something, I don't want to turn in 12 and they give me something random. I don't want to Turn in 2-3 sets of Atma's with this Free-To-Play drop rate.

Do I need 12 of the same Crystals? I don't get how they play in the grand scheme of things.

If you're actively hunting for the Atma crystals, then it should be safe to assume that you've started the Zodiac weapons quest that you get in North Shroud from the relic weapon guy. Read the information provided by the quest. It tells you that you need 12 different Atma crystals, which you take to the old guy in North Shroud to turn in to start the upgrade on your Relic weapon.

After spending 7 hours farming fates in eastern shroud with 0 drops I've come to the conclusion this is worst thing ever added to a game.

I cannot stand Luck drops, my luck in FF is horrid to all extents of the game.

1.0 and XI vets would like a word with you...

This content is tame compared to what SE has done in the past

Do two wrongs make a right?

I mean, working for it is no problem to me, at least I can make sure I'm actually progressing. Make it a counter of 100 or how many FATEs you need to do in each zone, I don't care, because at least it's really nice to see where you're at. For all you know right now, you could, theoretically, not get it until the cows come home.

If you've admitted that something like this is akin to the bad things that happened in 1.0, do you see something wrong here?

It doesn't make it right. Completely random drops for 12 necessary items for one quest is seriously just wrong. Random drops like these means it's possible to never get a drop if your luck is bad.

Well hopefully, they will be addressing this soon

And missed the point of "it's bad"

I would rather kill 1000 enemies 10 times then wait on luck.
