Any Lalafell regrets?

I'm sort of interested in playing a Lalafell PLD, but I keep hearing a downside to them is less detail on their gear because of their small size.

I'm okay with not being able to see detail from the camera being zoomed out in dungeons, but if PLD gear looks much better on other races then that will be a factor in choosing my race. I've never really had a nice gaming PC so I'm excited for visual goodies once the PS4 version releases.

Anyway, is there anyone who regrets making a Lalafell for these reasons? Or is this just an overstated problem?

I love the race of Lalafells, but I did create another character with the exact same JOBS so I see what i would look like.

That is my biggest (and only) gripe that I have.

I had a lalafell to see the world from their perspective.
While their size has advantages in dungeons where the camera us confined to a small area...and in the world where it's easier to walk around an enemies target area...I chose not to keep that character.
Same goes for being really large and tall.
I've played every race and have kept the miq'ote. The hyur would be a second choice.

I do not, and do not think I ever would, regret being a Lalafell.

Regretting being a Lalafell? Not a chance. Lalafell's are the best and have some of the best emotes(in my opinion). I wont play any other race.
I see nothing different in the armor other than the obvious size/proportion differences to other races.

I can't play larger races, they're just too slow. I know that movement speed is the same, but animation wise it feels like I'm moving twice the speed of anything else.

Basically the game has zero physics beneficial to any race because they didn't really factor in stat changes in later game progression so you can pray to said god water moon etc.. And it makes zero difference in terms of comparison with stats

Gear on lalafell has -1 detail, but +10 cute.

Seriously, everything looks adorable on a Lalafell. And the only gear that really loses detail are the boots and pants, due to being so short and squished.

My main character is (as tall as possible) femal Hyur but about half of my alts are Lalas. I was also playin "main" Lala (as short as possible) during PS4 stage 1 beta over 4 classes (CNJ, PGL and both tanks) and while I adore them to a bits - their emotes / animations are without discussion the BEST in the whole game (doze in sit or panic - yay) I was struggling a bit to get used to the camere so low above the ground but apart of that - no - no regrets. I'm actually leveling my second "main" on Lala and what I can see that they get much more commendations in dungeons - I to tend lean towards Lalas if I'm about to choose between multiply good players ...
