New Recipes?

This may seem to be a stupid question...but I just want to verify it's that, or whether I'm missing something. So there are new recipes added for each class, I'm level 50 Culinarian and there are no new recipes showing.

I'm assuming (yeah I know that's dangerous) that to have those new recipes...one of which is needed to get the Master Culinarian book, I need to have completed one of each item in my crafting book?

Would be grateful for any insight on this.

Go to mor dhona, there are some NPCs with some quests to learn about the master books and tools.

You don't have to make all recipes :) you have to trade the book for some crafted items. For culinarian it's 5 sauteed coeurl

Thanks! yup...I picked the quest up for the Master Culinarian Book...it's the new recipes they said were added to our crafting log without the book, that I'm enquiring about. I mean .... how can you make Spicy Tomato Relish to hand in for the book when you haven't got the recipe for it?

Edit: The weird thing is, my goldsmith has the new recipes and I didn't have to hand in anything for those, they just were there in my log. That's why I'm puzzled.

You have to hand in sautéed courel x5 HQ for cul book, I brought mine, CBA making then, hate cul and the amount of ingredients, I have no storage for them lol. As for gsm, 5 how rose gold ingots for 3 new crafts, 4 including the cig for new tool

Yes I have to admit that I'm severely depressed about new crafting, and may well just give up. I can't afford to get my gear over melded, and the ridiculous amount of stuff we have to hand in, all HQ, that you can't make in class specific HQ gear. Another gil sink me thinks.

They should have brought out quests for us to do, that we COULD do in our present gear, to get upgraded gear/tools. I'll just let the rich get richer (not sure for what purpose), and toddle along with my deviled eggs :p
