Will there be an option to adjust Leviathan special effects?

I haven't tried extreme mode yet, but completing hard mode (even beating it on our first try) made me feel very queasy. I have no issues with any other visual effect in the game, but the way the sea is emulated (particularly when Leviathan surges you with waves) triggers what I could best describe as a feeling of motion sickness. I know it is an optical illusion, but I would still like the option to turn that particular effect off. Will one ever become available?

I know I am in the minority here, and I am not asking for the effect to be REMOVED for everyone. It's really well done and really adds to the atmosphere of the fight, for people who can handle it. I would just like an option to 'hide' it for people who have trouble with it (such as myself).
