Quick Question : How to get more venture coin?

You need this to make your retainer go on venture, but how to receive more of it?

You can buy stacks of 5 for 1000 grand company seals

oh, so that is the only way to obtain them? no any automatic credit per time?

I did 6 quests today for my dailies (3 Gridanian, 3 Thanalan) and received a bunch from that. Sent both retainers out on an exploration for the cost of 2 ventures each (chose the longer, 18 hour one over the specific item.) Supposedly, there's a chance of getting a rare or unique item that you can only get from ventures. I'll check tomorrow to see what I got.

I don't think you will receive any unique item until your retainer become high level tho.

Beast tribe quests also give them. If you do your allotment every day you should get a minimum of 6 a day.

You can obtain the ventures (currency) from GC by exchanging GC seals (1000 seals = 5 ventures), from beast tribe quest (at higher levels already 10 per each, could be more at highest one, I've not reach that yet) plus as rewards from leves. So while it's somehow "Limited" how much you can gain (by fixed daily alotments for tribe and leve quest) if you want to go crazy you can produce as much GC seals as needed by running FATEs so in theory you should never run out of ventures even if you'll be using it every hour on quick explorations for both retainers.

Surprisingly - you will - already from very low levels - higher retainer levels only increase the frequency of obtaining such items and / or their quality. IMO it's worth sending out your reatiners as often as possible.

Are you sure you are reading that right? I think it is 10 tomes and 1 venture.

I might be wrong indeed but that's what I (believe I) saw when checking the journal last nigh on still pending tribe quest (tier 3, second highest, it will be indeed less on tier 1 and 2 quests).

So I was blind indeed and it's only one venture coin per beast tribe quest - e.g. 6 a day ...
