Changing the visual effect of magic attacks.

Maybe its silly but the more spells I see the more I think they are all alike, they all seem to be some sort of magical elemental explosion!

Why cant thunder be an actual thunder dropping on the enemy?
Why cant fire be a fireball shotting from our staffs?
Why cant Ice be icicles forming around the target and then piercing it?
Why cant aero be a small tornado forming at our feet and rushing towards the enemy?

Maybe this is a silly post but I would like the magical attacks to look more magical than explosions.

well that was mentioned since the Beta. I guess they just have more important things to fix right now. But i think in the end they will change it.

Or they're saving the cool animations for the higher tier spell that you haven't seen yet (past 50)

I think they will address that in 1.19.

I feel your pain I dont like the way shock spikes looks or sounds. and I cant even tell if its hitting the enemy or not, you see the dmg numbers but not the animation.
