Quick Question About Atmus and Animus

quick question about these two. srry if there is already a thread about this.

so Atmus and Animus are the same ilvl according to patch notes. So is Atmus and Animus two different paths or it goes Atmus than upgrade to Animus?

I would assome Atmus to > Animus but yea just looking for some clarification if any.

Atma upgrades to Animus after another quest. Atma is actually just a name change and doesn't increase the stats it seems.
