How to stay up while crafting?

I end up getting sleepy after 10-15 minutes while crafting...

How are you crafters keeping up without ending up sleeping???

/sigh 29 armorer trying to hit 32 armorer... I know I can do it but end up zzz'ing most of the time lol.

1. Listening to other music = not working (heavy metal not keeping me up..)
2. Energy Drinks + Coffee = not working
3. Watching anime/movies while crafting = I start forgetting to click the option to craft...
4. telling wife to slap me ever time I'm falling asleep = not working.. it just hurts...

Dev's need a way to make crafting bit more fun... color of the glowing ball alone isn't fun...

i do option 1, 2, and 3. i avoid option 4 because the wife would enjoy it way too much. i usually turn up the sound on the speakers while watching movies or listening to music. you can hear when the synth either succeeds or fails and i use a controller so the x button i just click while in my hand. the only time i look to the game is when starting the next synth when crafting most times.

This is the correct method, you just need to train your hands better. After each synth, all you have to do is press down to select "Recipes" and start spamming the OK/Confirm button on your controller/keyboard. There's nothing to it.

Alchemy was my first 50 before the crafting sp got boosted.... I have two monitors, lots of anime, netflix and several other dvd's.

Have you tried crack cocaine? You'll have every craft at 50 before you even know it!

Don't grind on the same recipe over and over. This is the pit most players fall into.

I actually managed to synth continue grinding half asleep, eyes closed and all. but usually I'm not even paying attention. On occassion I'll play Diablo 2 on my laptop while synthing XD

Sometimes I got music playing, no anime as computer is hooked up to the TV.

Basically, I found that simply doing something else and only partially paying attention to the game when synthing (ie. enough to remember to keep pressing the comfirm button). I usually do it by sound cues during synthing, so I rarely, if ever look at the screen during crafting.

So far I've usually been playing my own music and keeping a gaming livestream up in the background to check out on occasion.

Thx for the responses; at least I know one thing is for sure after reading everyone's post...

Everyone is doing something else outside of the game while crafting... = crafting is boring as hell...

Dev's need to look into it... lol

For now I'll just try the anime/movies while crafting and try to keep eye open on crafting screen... or steal my wifes monitor to watch anime on their while i craft and she sleeps :D
