Well, simple.
Some of the best/funniest conversations I've ever had had been fate grinding. To me, it feels like people will actually communicate and actually enjoy each other's company instead of walling themselves away waiting for a duty finder to pop.
I don't mind that much. This is a great excuse for some FC bonding time!
