Free Company Master rank transfer.

Currently SE have implemented a way for guilds to get a new Guild Master if the current is inactive for 35 days. The Guild Master that was inactive, then receives a demotion down to 'Member' Rank.

Stop asking guild leaders to randomly trust people they most likely haven't met. Your guidelines for who will be chosen is basically a random thing for a lot of guilds. I personally (no offence) don't want me Guild Leadership to go to a member who has no previous experience or knowledge about my goals for the guild.

Also, if I am unable to somehow log on for 35 days, or just am unable to renew my membership. I would expect that I would be unable to be kicked from the guild when I am demoted, I would expect as soon as I log on my 'Guild Master' rank is restored to me and that restrictions are still placed on the new Guild Master to prevent them doing a runner.

Unfortunately, the new rule is ridiculous, you could be kicked form your own FC.

I don't understand why a FC master has to receive a permanent punishment in case he cannot logon for 35days.
Please make it optional and visible to all members.
The new rule should be auto-effective only when the FC master is <deleted>.

I can see how this could be a pain to some, but at the same time I can see where it would come in handy. In my FC, (could be many many others tho) The leader may be the only person in the FC w/ access to certain things. Would it be fair if say, your leader was the only one allowed to withdraw money, and 10,30,50 million was donated by members, then because of some outside reason that leader decided or was forced to not be able to play anymore, that noone could ever get that money back or spend it on what they donated it for? I mean yea you could give other ppl these privelages, but maybe before you decided/forced that you couldn't play anymore, you just never did it.Another thing I haven't SEEN happen, but could easily see happening, is several times I have seen a fc leader accidently promote someone else to FC leader while doing promotions, luckily the 2 times I have seen it happen, luckily that person was online and able to switch it back within a few minutes, but what if you accidently did this to a person who just never came back online for whatever reason.


*edit*I will add to this saying maybe instead of reverting them back to member, giving them a new status like Leader-Inactive or something to that effect

There are many reasons for the new rules which are unbeatable.
But just imagine the pressure if you will lost the ownership of your most valueable item if you have not logged for 35days.

First of all, in MY opinion, i don't find this new rule ridiculous at all. If you are a FC master, you need to be active. There are a LOT of free companies out there that have been crying to SE for a long time because the FC master is gone and nobody could do anything about it. I thought this was a legit complaint and something had to be done about it. I think its a great implementation. I am the master of an FC and have been since Early release, only about 6 months but still... Some of my officers have me cell number and i have there's. If i know I'm not going to be able to pay next months sub or i'm gonna be on vacation or ANYTHING like that, i would temporarily pass lead to one of my guys just in case, its very easy. So IF you know you won't be around for a month, pass lead to someone you trust so it won't go to some "Random" person as you say.

I mean, i can certainly understand where you are coming from but try that. If you don't have anyone there u can trust, well thats on you lol. I totally agree with the new rule or whatever u wanna call it. If you have a douche leader who just bails for 2 months and doesn't say anything and theres money in the bank, i think all the guidelines for the leader transition are pretty good. That's my take on it anyway.

In my fc this new rule was a huge gift. Our original fc founder has not played for more than 100 days and our second in command had not been online for almost 50 days. Leadership was automatically transferred to one of our active officers. The leadership transfer prioritizes higher ranked active members. If you are concerned about ever losing your fc, make some trusted people officers and they can fill in for you as a leader in your absence. Yes, you may have founded the fc, but everyone else is a part of it as well and should have some recourse if you decide to quit one day or need to take a break. Life in the game should continue to move along without you.

In JP forums, there are few reports that the FC masters with L house kicked all members without notice.
Most likely those masters want to suspend his subscription for more than one month and don't want to be demoted to regular member.
