problems adding crysta...

hello. so im currently having problems adding crysta.

originally, I added enough crysta to put me to around 7000. I had wanted to get enough to do 6months (77.00 ish?) so around 7700 crysta.

unfortunately, after getting to just over 7000, but not quite 7700 for the 6month, when I went to put more crysta on it told me You cannot exceed the Crysta limit.
Please change the amount of Crysta to add and try again.


now, im using ultimate game cards. I figured maybe I can only have so much that way. so I ended up settling on a 3 month renewal, I new have 1004 crysta left. tried to add crysta again, and once again im getting You cannot exceed the Crysta limit.

I started with trying to add 5000 crysta, tried again with 2000, and again with 1000, keeps telling me the same thing. so if I "cant exeed the crysta limit" how am I supposed to add more now for later uses?



Edit - I also know it says "you can only add a maximum of 10,000 (100.00) crysta to a single ff account, so if I have added 10,000 (I did do a transfer, and I checked my crysta book, im at 10,000 total, 1004 left)
when am I allowed to add more? or what do I do now?

if it says you can only add 10,000, how am I supposed to pay for the game in the future?

So this morning I wake up to an email saying that, while my hubby's 6 mo sub was auto renewed via his debit card, mine could not be using my debit card due to error 406, whatever that is.


After much searching and frustration, I finally was able to get 10k cyrsta added to my account. I was so relieved that I'd be able to make it online for raid day. Paid for my 6 mo recurring w/ crysta, logged in, and realized I couldn't access my 2x new retainers. Ok, back to mog station.

I only had enough crysta remaining to pay for one of the two new retainers, so I went ahead and approved one. My crysta remaining crysta balance is 1000. I need 1200 to renew my retainer for 6 mos. So I go to add more crysta and BLAMO, i get some red message talking about I can't exceed the maximum crysta limit of 10k. I no longer have 10k I have 1000. WTF?!

So not only did I go through hell getting my sub renewed b/c although my debit card has been good enough for square for the last 6 months and to buy the game, all of a sudden, it's no longer good enough. Now, I can't even obtain enough crysta to renew the features that I bought previously on my debit card.

This is ridiculous.

Sorry I have no answers for you, but please know you aren't alone. I will not be holding my breath for a fix. I just wonder how things will pan out next 6 months when they no longer like my debit card and they won't let me have any more crysta....

Oh and ps > i stored things on my 4th retainer... like atma. Gee thanks SE, as if the atma grind wasn't "fun" enough already, now I have to do it all over again for the ones that I had stored.

Hey, I have the same problem with error 406. Both my credit cards which worked perfectly before are not being accepted, and SE support's response was to wait for them to send me an email explaining how to proceed. Which of course didn't arrive yet. My question is: how did you pay for the crysta? With your credit card, or some other way? At this point I'm willing to wait until they fix the problems with cc payment so i can get my extra retainers, but I would at least like to be able to play the game and not miss more daily content.
