Please add 'Disable Chase Camera' option

Or Add 'Camera Lock Option'

I think its was the period key on the numpad in Final Fantasy xi...

For instance, when ever you stop moving the camera, the camera stops moving and will not move until you direct it.

I just want the game to succeed & the team needs our input, so voice those opinions for the love of the game...
A free camera would just provide a more cinematic experience... Which adds to the whole fun factor, there is no doubt about it. It feels totally unnatural to be fighting the POV. The game looks so good, and I can't look at my character while she is walking around... I can't understand any argument relating to game-play, as long as its an option there is not 'unfair advantage' it could possibly cause. It's all about playability and image. Not to mention, if this game is ever going to show its face in the console environment, this option will be demanded by them... So maybe its in the pipes already, which would be awesome, but just to make sure I'm posting this.

I noticed it too.
Not really a problem though, because you can turn the camera around and still run into the same direction if you don't use autorun and press a different key while running (so the direction stays the same).
Not very convient, but okay for short distances.

Completely supported. I've wanted this option forever.

The chase camera is incredibly annoying.
