No Coil Duty Finder Solo Initially

I was really looking forward to queing (or is it queueing) for Coil with the release of 2.2 but as it turns out solo queing will not be available until a later date. :( Is there any specific reason for pushing it back? Is it because the echo buff is not available initially and so they want to release it when echo buff is available? :confused: I do not wish to join a group every week at certain days and times like iv'e been seeing in the party finder. I have school tests through the week and dont wish to schedual my gaming much like I already have to do with studying. Maybe i'm just a very small minority, but I don't think I need the echo buff to beat some of Coil (havent attempted it so can't say for sure) but pushing back solo queing does not seem necessary. :(

Patch notes:
Players may now enter the Binding Coil of Bahamut via the Duty Finder with a full party.
* With a later update, the Echo buff will be applied to all party members upon incapacitation. Moreover, a full party will no longer be required to register via the Duty Finder.

I'd like to add that I do mean the first half of Coil, 1-4 and not the second half.

They want to slowdown people clearing contents.

If they wanted to slow down Coil 1-5 they wouldn't be giving people echo buffs.

Two weeks after the patch you can que up by yourself.

Queue (queuing)

take one's place in a queue.

a line or sequence of people or vehicles awaiting their turn to be attended to or to proceed.

English isn't hard people.

They held back on solo queuing because duty finder could potentially put you in, say, a group of 4 magic dps for turn 4. Until the first tier of Echo, and the attached nerf of reflected damage, that setup would make the turn impossible.

I don't get the practical difference between joining a pug in PF or Wineport, and joining a random DF group in terms of demand on your schedule. You don't have to wait a day.

Also what the above said, T4 in a DF group could potentially be impossible unless it came with that nerf.

No reason stated. Possible reasons:

- The system itself isn't even ready yet so they disguised it this way.
- To prevent the Coil 1-5 instance from being overloaded like 'Amdapor Keep' used to be (40+ minute que times due to server overload.)
- Someone with a personal grudge against you is paying SE $10 a month to ruin your coil experience for two weeks.
- No reason; Yoshi flipped a coin and it bursted into flames before it hit the ground.
