ps3 log window clears after certain events

Sometimes after a loot item distributes or a boss clear happens, any event really that marks an important moment in the game, the general log window clears and deletes itself, making it impossible to track anything before that. It makes it really hard if you for example missed a conversation and want to scroll back in the log. Unless you have it filtered so you have a diferent tab for everything. I don't know if it's a memory issue for ps3 or if it's a bug. But sure it's damn annoying.
