Amdapor Keep 2.2 (and other challenge nerfs)

So, the few things remaining in Amdapor Keep that provide any challenge at all are being nerfed or removed.

What are you thinking, Yoshi? With the new i95+ gear being introduced, you're going to throw the difficulty curve of the game completely out of whack (even more than you already have). Are you getting letters from angry mothers upset because little Jimmy can't finish his relic?

Echo buffs on EX primals already? Those were just introduced two months ago!

SLOW DOWN. There is not enough content in the game yet to be nerfing stuff like this. Didn't you say at one point that these kinds of nerfs wouldn't be seen until the first expansion?

well we are getting major updates every 3 months and 1 expansion every 2 years so in their standard it is.

there is plenty of content in game. just no grinds (other than weekly caps but lolz if you think thats a grind)

There was something in AK that was challenging? To who? A fresh level 50 with gear still in the 40's?

Only first timers who don't know any better get hit by Plaincracker and IC and it only takes one run to learn that and never get hit by them ever again. No one fights the bugs and just pushes straight through Demon Wall.

You're complaining that they're making things easier that people don't even find challenging in the first place.

I find it cute they're removing the flies on Demon Wall as if many people have even let them spawn in the last few months. It was a face roll as soon as people started getting their relics.

All these threads for me just point to.
"How dare you make something so much easier after I spent countless hours studying to figure out how I can farm X dungeon/boss in the least amount of time possible!, Now others can do it with less effort than I put in!"

Who cares, it doesn't affect you, if you are so good that AK didn't give you much challenge it sure as hell won't impact with these tiny nerfs. Move on to Coil 6-9 and ex leviathan and be happy you have hard new content.

I worked my butt off to get r30 in pvp and all the gear, and now it's going to be super easy when compared, and you can equip direwolf stuff at r 20. I think this is fkn awesome even though it makes my hard work seem like something that will be easy now, they close the gap between those who can't and those who can making everyone able to enjoy the gear/content eventually. And later on they will give me more challenges to strive for and I know eventually that accomplishment will be nerfed too, this is good, it = progress.

That's exactly it. As more and more people get themselves geared out, and as stronger gear than the current BiS stuff is introduced, that by itself takes care of lowering the difficulty on older content.

And if it's about new players getting up to speed with current content, isn't that why we have Duty Roulette?

That's where you're wrong. Take a look at my Lodestone profile. I haven't cleared Turn 5 or even Garuda EX yet. And it's looking like I may not get the chance to before SE nerfs them. It absolutely affects me.

I really don't understand why nerfing old content is a problem to so many people. Hell, I've had more people then I can count call me an elitist and I couldn't care less if someone else has an easier time with an old instance.

Maybe I want to faceroll old content too!

But you will have new challenges, with mog, leviathan extreme, new dungeon's as well as being able to unbuff the echo buff if you so choose, it's an option, you can still play through all the content in the original, for the most part.
You will be able to clear coil turn 1-5 easier maybe with the small permanent buffs, but then you can explore 6-9 which will be highest difficulty still. And in the end, what they really did was just gave players a way faster way of getting your myth gear and ilvl90 gear to actually participate well in extreme modes, you don't have to wait each week for the cap to wear off.
