2.2 Story quests

To keep the title short I didn't include, 2.1...but I wanted to go over something I thought about today in regards to both major updates so far.
I understand that SE wants to add new things for us to do without raising the level cap currently...however; what is the point of releasing 20 new quests? Does it really require that many for the added content? Probably not...so my guess is it's just a matter of expanding/continuing the story for those that enjoy it (myself included).
What, then, will happen when the level cap eventually rises? We have 50-60 quests that are all the same level? Or perhaps they will have their difficulty, level requirement, and rewards adjusted. It just seems like a lot of extra work is all

All of the post game quests have a quest level of 50+ even with level requirements currently being 50.

The currently highest level quest is "For Prosperity" (the post Labyrinth of the Ancients quest) with a level of 55.
