What are soldiery tokens used for?

At first I thought they were the new armor sets shown off but apparently those are crafted? So what are the token rewards then?

We can buy gear and weapon from Gerolt, apparently, like you can see in the "Gerolt's Masterworks" page.

Just because that gear is shown, doesnt mean its also obtained from Gerolt.

The Soldiery Tokens will be for the ilvl 100 vendor gear As to what it looks like thats anyones guess.
