Ground Targeting- Locked To Cursor is Flawed by design
So, ground targeting with a controller has been difficult.
So they added the new ability for us to use R1 + Left stick to target.
I don't want to stand still the entire time I am targeting. Which holding R1 and using Left Stick to target, requires.
Why not make the RIGHT STICK control the targeting instead of the camera when activating a Ground Targeting ability? That way players can MOVE while targeting(even with Shadow Flare, I may want to move before I start casting, although I've probably Swiftcast it, so I could be moving while casting)
So, Enter:Ground Targeting - Locked To Cursor
This sounds great in theory, however their implementation is disastrous.
"Lock To Cursor" I would expect to mean "Lock to Target Cursor", how wrong was I?
Instead, it simply locks it to my mouse cursor......lol wut?
I play on PC, so I had a friend test "Lock to Cursor" on his PS3.
What does it do? Center's the target ring on your CHARACTER. Lol wut?
